Margaritas were very good. The mole was good as well, and good mole isn't easy to find. So kudos for that. The place is small but very festively decorated. Overall a great experience with good food and drinks.

Great food, fair prices. They also have specials on the shipper magazine that you can get inside Safeway and other places as well. I will post pictures of their menu so you can see the items before visiting the restaurant. Good authentic Mexican food.

El Portillo on Hualapai Mountain Rd is amazing! I’ve had a lot Mexican food and this is some of the most flavorful food I’ve had! 10/10, if I could afford to eat here everyday for the rest of my life, I would.

Firstly the location was a good location and the entrees of the meal were delicious. That is 2 stars for that. The appetizers were disappointing to say the least. The tamale was 5 dollars for a smedium and the masa wasnt even cooked. The other was the carne asada fries and the meat was tough and filled with fat and burnt gristle. The 4 drinks I had were the house margaritas which were strawberry and mango and at most had 2 shots of alchohol combinded. Lastly the service was horrid so bad that we were there for well over and hour and 15 minutes and had to flag down our waiter for a simple pickup or even ask for the margaritas 20 minutes after ordering them. I review plenty of places and this is one of those I reccomend to stay out of. Also they automatically charge you 15% for a tip on your bill as it is no longer an option and why I believe there service to be so horribe.

I have eaten at El Potrillo a couple of times now and the food was very good. The second visit I had a server who didn't know much English. I would recommend this restaurant.

Food was bland no flavor salsa taste like El pato sauce very disappointed in this place beans was watery and grainy rice was cooked perfect but not enough chicken broth & tomato sauce taco shell was hard as a rock need to make there own, I think they use a lot of boxed product cause it didn’t taste like fresh home made food. You can’t fool a cook I know my food.

Best mood north of the Mexican/ American Border. Great service. Friendly people. They know how to make food spicy if you need it that way. My wife and I both order the steak tampiqueña as it comes with a chicken enchilada.

I'm not big on pork I ended up getting a green Chile chimi changa that was made with pork and to my surprise it was very delicious looked up this online on Google as we were passing through it did not disappoint

The fajitas, soup, and burrito were really flavorful as was the margarita. Waiter was attentive, getting drinks refilled, and everything was exactly as ordered. Appreciate tasty food and efficient service. This restaurant was recommended by a local.

Food was average waitress was a little stand offishness because language barrier prices on the high side for rice and beans and cheaper cuts of beef but place was decorated cool and place was clean

Ive been looking for a good mexican restaurant for awhile in Kingman, WELL THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT. Absolutely the best food I've had in a long while, portions sizes are more than plenty for 1 or maybe EVEN 2. We walked in, were seated right away, abd ordered soon after. They were extremely nice and pleasant, smiles an all! However I must say I didnt have enough time to admire the place because my food was out pronto! Nice warm meal to satisfy my craving for a long time. 5 outta 5!!!

Went for lunch after my doctor's appointment at the VA clinic across the street. Arrived around 1:30 after the lunch crowd had left. Had the house Margaretta it was actually good. Had the ok lunch special which was 3 fresh Taco's refried beans and rice. Didn't take long for my order to arrive and was still steaming hot and good tasting. While waiting for my food was served fresh home made chips and salsa also good. Highly recommend this little place and prices are very reasonable

We just ate the best street chicken tacos & carne asada beans & rice plate at this amazing place ! They make everything fresh to order & the fresh pastries are amazing too ! Wow we will definitely be back ! We went through the drive thru & they have amazing service as well. Thank you ! Thank you !

These reviews do not reflect what we experienced today. We paid $16 per carne asada burrito.... burrito only. For $16, I expect there to be an abundance of meat without grizzle but that is not what we received. Very disappointed.

Attention to detail, attentive to our needs, fast, fresh, hot.

This wasn't the best experience to put it nicely. Waitress didn't listen well and mistook the order of a cheese enchilada and beef taco for two enchiladas one cheese, one beef. We were so hungry we didn't have time for her to re-make the food. As we were in a hurry, she then charged us for an iced tea we didn't even have. Cost me 36$ for two plates of food that wasn't what we ordered. Food is overpriced and not worth it. If you are in this complex just eat at Subway.
